Capsicum annum
Attractive bush bearing abundant crops of slender, thin skinned fruit
that ripens from green to purple to red. Similar in heat to the traditional red cayenne, measuring in between 30,000-50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Some believe the Lilac variety is tastier than the red and yellow, but they can be slightly more difficult to germinate.
